Susan is the EVP/GM of Global Digital Capabilities, Transformations and Operations (GDCT&O) in the Global Commercial Services (GCS) division at American Express. She leads a global team responsible for managing, optimizing, and transforming the customer experience for commercial clients to help power the GCS business. She leads the evolution of the annual investment process, helps to revolutionize global data strategy and insights capabilities, advances our digital offerings, and oversees our regulatory and operations processes.

Ms. Chapman-Hughes holds a Master of Business Administration in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She also holds a Master of Regional Planning from The University of Massachusetts-Amherst and a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Vanderbilt University
