HSCF 2020 VC STEM Camp Recap

We launched our first ever virtual Venture Capital series which is an abbreviated version of our residential camps due to Covid. December 19th concludes our goal of providing quality programming and opportunity for young leaders to expand their mind and interest in STEM.

This could not have been done without a talented team working behind the scenes and top global leaders willing to spend their Saturdays investing in the development of our youth. What makes this even more special is that we were able to deliver our programs for FREE all year.

So, we kicked off the series with an our Bio-Agro/Tech Symposium with Eylce Talavera (Wellness & Herbalist Expert), Julius Tillery (Owner/CEO Black Cotton), Merafe Moloto (MD Moloto Capital), Xonna Clark ( Functional, Integrative and Culinary Nutritionist), Taija Stoner-Harris & Deja Feist (Chemists), and DJ Sassi providing live global beats.

Each Saturday after the exciting symposium was curated to deliver insights from leaders working in STEM fields or business/finance areas impacted by agriculture. Discussions from careers, to "How is that made", and to lessons learned filled the hour leading to December 12th, VC Pitch Day, where you can win cash awards.

We encourage all those who have an innovative Agro/Tech idea to complete the form and submit for a chance to win or be coached by executive leaders. Follow the steps and links below to participate. It is not too late to join us.
